How do I connect a record player (turntable)?
I have a turntable. This is an Audio Technica and is not new vintage. What should I be able to listen to records about him? I guess speakers and something to amplify sound. If I go good will to find a receiver which ports do I need to make sure it was on the back? And speakers?
You guessed right. This can be do as you said, buying an amplifier / receiver and speakers appropriate, or using a boombox. Both will have input jacks for RCA (pictured on the link below). These jacks may be labeled "phono" cd "" band "or" Aux. (Abbreviation of 'auxiliary'). "You may use any of them. Just make sure to set the device to switch the amp to match. (In other words, if you plug the hub in the nests marked CD, set the amp to the CD creation). Just connect the two RCA cables coming out of AT taken appropriate to the amp / box, plug the power cord, and you're ready to go. The plugs are usually color coded. Just match the colors. For speakers, you'll have to consult the manual of the receiver to determine exactly what the speakers may be used according to the power amplifier product.
