Are large firms, investment houses, using their money to bet on products pushing up when u

sed to invest in other stocks most? Do they act like day traders now, more than in the past because of lower tick rule? They used to invest in each other with their money. Granted, many of them subprime write downs, but they have borrowed from the Fed, up to 400 billion or more than 4 times their losses! So why they are hoarding this money or goods to auction with it? This is not surprising the stock market is flat when they invest in commodities, right? They drive up the price of everything to make money with little consumer, bleeding dry! Net ... Could you elaborate on why they could not bid on these things?

Commodities rise in general because : 1. Brazil 2. Russia 3. India 4. China The "BRIC" countries. These countries are growing by 7 to 12 times the rate of the United States. In addition to the weak U.S. dollar pushes prices of commodities like many are denominated in U.S. dollars. The decline of the dollar over the commodity is priced. In addition, speculators are driving prices further. I do not think the wire houses or companies do. They can not control the market like that.
