Amp Tuner
Onkyo TX-800 Tuner Amp repair?
The system I have is close to being about 18 years. With Speakers Bose. still rocks with the sound, well i use to try to use it and the speakers wont put out the loud noise. I do not think it is the speakers. think it may be the amp. speaker does not produce some sounds, but very low. sounds like mono, not stereo.
I belong to this receiver back in the late 90s, and it was a pretty decent unit. It has led some medium-sized players Cerwin-Vega very well. The first thing to do is check all your connections to make sure they are safe. Your speaker cable connection-tion may be loose. Make sure both speakers. Maybe the receiver (ie amp / tuner) blew one of its channels and you only get sound from one speaker. If this is the case, you must either be repaired which will be relatively expensive, or sell it on eBay or Craig's List in the state, and buy a new one, as perhaps the last version of what you have, which is the receiver Onkyo TX-8011 stereo. If you like your Bose speakers, that's fine, but perhaps you might consider taking a new speakers that can be easier on your amp drive. There are plenty to choose from about $ 60/pr. on site. Just do a search on My Simon or a similar price / comparison site. H appy LISTENING L!
