MINIVEE Velodyne Subwoofer - powerful enough to cover 500 sq. ft room?
I have an open family room / kitchen combined ISS 500 ft. and I look Velodyne DPS-12, but prefers a small model that can be placed and more easily hidden. I am not trying to break windows, but want good bass for movies and music. Is MINIVEE be enough power? I have a TX-SR602 (B) 7.1 channel / 85 watts per channel amplifier-tuner with three speakers Onkyo ceiling at the front and two at the back of our family room. Would you go with the DPS-12 for my situation and / or suggest an alternative size and / or model?
Get the biggest, most powerful sub you can afford. If there is too low, you can always retreat.
