What can be stronger? Speakers powered by USB or the headphone jack?

I need to know, because I want to make a speaker system solar energy, using speakers with built-in amp, such as computer speakers. Thus, USB or headphone jack?

The available power from a set of powered speakers will be determined by the capabilities of the amplifier used in them. The choice of amplifier will be partly determined by the amount of power available from the source of power. A USB port is specified to provide 5 volts to about 1 / 2 ampere, or 2 1 / 2 watts. This means that the amplfiers could have used a total RMS power output of about 1 watt. You would also understand how to get the power of your network signal in. Speakers are not a practical limitation of input power and could be from 1 to 100 watts. You real limitation will be how much power you can collect from your solar cells. Don
