USB turntable connected to a Mac?
I'm using a USB turntable to convert my vinyl LP in digital format. This works very well, but as I record the songs on the LP's, it also records the sound in the background, as I talk to someone else. When I used to record from LP to my cassette deck, it did not do that. Is this normal?
You could have enabled the audio input of both platinum and microphone. Check your audio settings in the app carefully recorder and Preferences System - Sound - Input.
