Speakers White

I'm speakers in the wall. There is a white cord already there?

I'm speakers in the wall. There is already a white cord there. Can I reduce it and use it instead of speaker wire?

Do you even know what the white wire? It could be a phone / Internet or a wireless alarm. How big is it? It could also be an outlet 110 volt wire on this. Not a good idea to cut it. Pass the new son to be sure that if the wall has been wired for speakers, in which case they would be labeled as such. The houses are usually not wired Speaker when they are built.
