What do I do a recording studio?

I have a computer, a microphone not very good, 1100 Amp, EQ, and two boxes President of Nice (12 "GEMI), all the Gemini facilities. It is in a 10" by 10 "foot room with a 4" by 4 " expressing foot room. I cover the wall with a 1 'inch thick foam. This is not to give me all his property. Can someone please tell me what I need to improve in a high-end studio sound at the lowest possible cost.

Start with two essential elements - a piece recording software (Sonar is my suggestion) and the second is a sound card or board great sounds that can handle a large number of plug-ins. My configuration is: - from CPORT STAudio - Sonar - JStation for guitar and bass direct recording - Boss DR5 drum machine twelve o'clock - Yamaha MIDI keyboard If you want to soundproof the room (Which can be expensive) you should go all the way to the wall studs and substitutes - rather than 2x4, use 2x3s and ensure that the dowels for each Wall really did touch the opposite walls.
