Speakers Flush
Surround speakers to the corners of the room?
You do not know if I can explain what I want, let me try. We bought a new house and I'll get the builders to son in cables for surround sound. They offer a package with speakers that are set flush into the wall, but their looks terrible and I prefer having some control over the quality of the speakers I bought. I heard that the speakers should be placed at a height more or less the head, because when you see the screen sitting - so the sound is the project on the same plane as your ears. My question is really in two parts: 1. That would work if I put the speakers in the corners of the room near the ceiling, then bent down into the room a bit ... ie for the sound is projected to a central point on the wall opposite the TV, where I'm sitting on my couch? 2. Are there any speakers that are designed to fit in a corner like that? I guess the back would be roughly triangular, and maybe the front would be more spherical?
