DAB does not sound better than DVB-T Radio?

Excluding the effects of receiving equipment, obviously dedicated DAB receivers are likely have a better DAC than telivision. I am interested in the speed and depth of the sample the two signals and other attributes that could affect the sound quality.

Are you in the UK? DAB bit-rates vary greatly from one country to another. In general UK DAB bitrates are among the lowest in the world, and the sound quality is very poor. I have not compared DAB with DVB-T only superficially because I did not a TV connected to my hi-fi. But I think almost anything would be better than DAB except perhaps in AM medium wave - which is really the best comparison. DAB is one step ahead of PM, I am very interested in hi-fi and listen to BBC Radio 3 is on FM or DAB. DAB is broadcast on R3 192 kb / s, which is just acceptable, but lower (and all other channels are lower) is unpleasantly rough and grainy - very much lower standards and unacceptable in a hi-fi context. If you listen with respect to the DAB and DVB-T You should easily find the difference because the DAB is so clearly unnecessary the usual low rates. You do not have cloth ears not to identify. 192kbps In fact, I prefer R3 DAB to FM because the latter is strongly compressed - full orchestra and chorus seem to get stronger enters the speakers so frustrating just at the crucial moment (as coitus interruptus, I guess).
