Powerline Networking & switch combination possible?

I have an interesting question, but I guess it will work. I 'm networking powerline in my house, down a cable modem connected to a wireless router, a port is a network component powerline network that feeds on the floor to the receiving computer. However, I have multiple ports on the floor for a few more components. Can I divide this regard powerline with a wide staircase switch and always keep that connection powerline or is it better how to network your home? I used to have it all up there on networking, but I never could get a solid connection who remained living even with a pre-N or a range wireless G router.

I do not see why it would not work. If you have a good connection on the power line switch arrangement as you suggest should be good.
