How you connect external speakers to a stereo?
I have 2 outdoor speakers, speaker wire, and a stereo. I plugged the speakers into the stereo, and I've tested it with a CD and it did not work. I have no idea what to do. I still trying to rid the thread but I'm still a little copper or show. I tried that and it did not work. Help please!
First off, do not let the son of two copper touch when plugged in stereo, a certain self-destruction if the stereo speakers are short-circuited. There are two son by the President, and you hook one up to positive on the stereo, the other negative. Keep the same for both speakers. If you still receive nothing, I always do the test "battery" Plug each of the son to a 9v battery, and you should get a pop from the speaker. Otherwise, something is wrong internally. If they work and pop, then you've plugged in correctly. Better control is a vom meter, and you should get 5-8 ohms between the two terminals of the enclosure. Good luck!
