MAJOR RIP-OFF !!!!!: tires runflat, Triple-A is a better solution?
Oh what we do not want the covienience "factor" ... and how gullible we are. My friend has tires run flat, and he had an apartment. Except a few problems ... once you are driving on tires Run-flat, it must be replaced, regardless if you've gone 1-mile or 50. Replacement Cost for one (1) Cost of tires ... $ 500 dollars! It is roughly what the cost would be to replace 4 tires normal (and God forbid that the bill will be when ALL 4 must be replaced) Here better alternative ... spend $ 100 per year on a AAA membership you will be towed within 50 or 100 mile. If you are considering buying a new car / truck, and they are part of the package, tell them to mount regular tires on the wheels and make a difference in your own pocket! Or sell them to traders / MFG!
use of flat tires were originally made for cars like the Corvette, because they are 18 inch wheels front wheels and 19-inch rear. So how do you take what size spare tire to put in the car with absolutely no space for one? you do not lace the car driving with flat tires if you get a tee shot can lead to a tire shop and replace your tires blown. people will buy stuff like that if they sell it to you.
