If you have lost much weight, how has it changed your life?

I just saw a guy on The Today Show was a candidate on The Biggest Loser. He had lost over a hundred pounds and looked like a different person. It is now quite beautiful. I would be interested to hear people who have lost a lot of weight on how it has affected their lives. How - you handle being treated differently? How has it changed your relationship? Do you think now people are overweight as you have already been tried? I heard that friends are not supportive when someone loses much weight because it changes the dynamics of the relationship (where perhaps they once looked on you, now they have to deal with all of you again). Did you find this to be true?

I lost approx. £ 80. I consider a significant amount of weight. I kept out of almost 8 years now. It has changed my life in almost every possible way: I'm out of a bad relationship, once I began to lose weight because I started to evaluate myself much more. I do not struggle with my self-esteem more - this improved my trust. I climbed the rungs of the business at the speed of lightning because of the surge of confidence. I married a wonderful man who values and loves me very much. My ex could not deal with me once I started to feel better about myself because I always been his emotional crutch. Other things started to fall into place as well .... I used to have problems hormone and a sore back. They were sorted once I lost weight, in general, I am much happier in myself. I am calm around me that I had never known before. I have no doubt judge people who are overweight - but only because I know they are poor excuses not to lose weight (as I did) and I hate it. I know that anyone can lose weight want to lose weight, and if you are overweight or do something or do not complain about it. It's not like you do a favor to anyone other than yourself - so why should I care if a person is overweight or not? If they want to lose it? --- Is much better but I do not want to hear about why they "can not". Another reason why I get angry is that people develop dysfunctional body (ie. diabetes) due to being overweight or too eat garbage ..... In return, it puts a strain on the systems of health care and the rest of us have to pay for their laziness. A woman with whom I work is borderline diabetic, she drinks (alcohol) as a fish (5 nights per week), she eats all sorts of junk food all day, and it is much more weight - if instead of the lifestyle it promises to be talking about how it would be to become diabetic. Then, without a beating muches eye to "Twix bar. I mean - COME ON! Finally, with hindsight, if people judge me for being overweight when I was overweight, I do not want at all. I understand everything now. Do I sound angry? I am not - I just wind up ...:-)
