Fabric Dome

I do some jodhpurs .... help?

I decided that I'm sick of following tradition, it is not necessary for boring old beige if I'm just schooling at home:) I am going shopping for some cool fabrics to make my saddlebags! The only problem is the top part - with the zip and dome or anything that I put. I am not too sure if I could do that easily, so do you have other ideas work equally well around the waist? Everyone made their own too, and want to give me advice? Thank you! AND, anyone know a site with free patterns / instructions that might help? Thank you.

You can get models www.suitability.com Jodhpur. They are not free, but they are fairly cheap - $ 8 to $ 12 usually. I bought their model for the polar winter riding pants, but never had time to do. I'd pull them on with elastic and jodhpurs size drawstring.
