Is it possible to get sound from both my PS3 and surround sound? In the audio options, I have to choose?
I connected the PS3 to the receiver with an Optical Cable. When you use the TV, I can get both the sound of the TV and surround sound, but can not get it works with PS3.
Why would you? External stakeholders should be much better than anything built into your TV. If you want really your TV speakers works too, just run a standard audio cable with a stereo output from your receiver to the audio input your TV. But the sound you get the digital connection to your receiver is far superior to anything you can get from your TV that is not really worth your while to bother Connecting the TV for sound.
