What should I use to replace "this" with a more intense power?
Hey, I'm using right now a http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/5 ... but I need a 40-50 amp which does the same thing. (controlled by timer 120v. basically every 3 hours that I want to go 240 of one charge and then again every other .. 3 hours. I saw the IEC contactors and overload relays, but Franky I am not familiar with these or whether it will accomplish the same task. And I do not need a relay overheating temperature or engine protection for most of the latter seem to be designed .. Here is a link to something that I look .. (Will this work? 40 to 50 amps, you are Worldwide contactors. Nothing hard about them, you no longer need the overload of work for them, but you may need to consider a switch contactor auxiliary contacts that are not rated load. Alternately using 2 contactors and contactor B lock normally closed contact of a contactor and repeat the same thing to B by A. This ensures both energize the contactor does not simultaneously result in contact weld. Finally the other unit that you have chosen is not DPDT as I think you need. You would need 2 units and the wire as previously described.
