What is the difference between the auditorium and acoustic style band?
I want a triple O acoustic fingerpicking I called Guitar Center and in my price range he recommended a M0100svs Mitchell. Never heard of the brand, but his style called an orchestra sound. Wondering if you could tell me the difference. Thank you for any info!
Over there is no absolute rules, but in general a model OM Orchestra () has a 1 3 / 4 "nut and a time scale (25.4"), and A 000 (triple-0) has a 1 11/16 "nut and a scale short (24.9 "). If you play fingerstyle OM is a better choice because of the extra width at the nut and if you are a Flatpick then 000 is desirable. However, if you support a length scale over while the other might as well be the factor decisive. What I've said is CF Martin definitions, terms, and they have invented, after all. Mitchell is a cheap knockoff made in China Martin's. Better to get the real thing. If you want to get an OM Martin OM-21. I play a 30-year-old Martin OM-45, but now that lists for 10,000 $.
